• The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with state and local sales and use tax laws and regulations
• This role involves preparing and filing tax returns, conducting tax research, and providing guidance on tax-related matters
• The Senior Accountant will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate tax reporting and to support tax planning and audit defense initiatives
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Provide guidance and support to other members of the accounting team
• Research and analyze tax issues and provide recommendations to management
• Assist with tax planning and forecasting
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
• Perform internal audits
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA certification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax preparation software
• Experience with Thomas Reuters OneSource tax software
