Job Description

Were hiring a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC, SLP-CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a K8 charter school in Chicago, ILfor the 20252026 school year. This is a 30-hour-per-week position working on-site with a manageable caseload in a collaborative, student-centered environment.

Position Details:

Setting: K8 Charter School

Caseload: Approximately 32 students

Schedule: 30 hours/week

School Hours:

Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 8:00 AM 3:30 PM

Wed: 8:00 AM 12:30 PM

Contract Length:20252026 school year

Type of Position: On-site

Qualifications:

For SLPs:

Valid state licensure

SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates welcome

Must hold or be eligible for Professional Educator License (PEL) if in Illinois

For SLPAs:

Valid SLPA license for the state of practice

Experience working in school settings preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
